wow, what a fabulous sunset. that's probably the best picture i've ever taken on my crummy mobile phone camera!! tomorrow should see some great race action and also some better quality images as the cameras will come out to catch the action!

and thanks to mark's catering, it looks like another hearty, steak-fuelled brekky for us!!!

Following some terrential rain and a full-blown thunder storm last night, we were pleased to find friday morning was bright and sunny. A short trip (3.5 miles) got us to the site, and before long we had the EZ-up erected. Time for a brekfast break, I think!

having arrived safely in France, we headed straight for the Belgian border, then right on to Chimay. This is the 'official' offsite camping of EBI. 40 Euros for the first night only isn't exactly a bargain given that this is little more than a farmers field full of horse s**t! And we've been sighted on quite a slope - oh well, time to stop moaning and light that bbq!

This ss the view from the front lounge of P&Os 'Pride of Kent' as we prepared to leave Dover docks. Clear blue sky and turquoise sea - surely a sign of great weather ahead?!

I've booked the Ferry and prepped the trusty Westy T4... now it's time to sit down and put together a check list for the team! passports, sleeping bags, tickets, cameras, underwear... the essentials!
We're leaving on Thursday, so watch out for an update (as soon as we get time!)
